Postcards and greeting cards
The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. ~E. Uchtdorf
I make my own postcards and greeting cards by using stamps , stickers and recycling of gift bags, old cartoons , magazines, doilies and paper.

Recycling project
I bought this stand from a second hand store in Kloof Street, Cape Town. It desperately needed some TLC.
I covered all the arms of the stand in different colours, using Washi tape.
All my bangles are now on display. I am one very happy “hipsy” girl.

Theo and myself built this collage using old canned fruit crates and filled them with things that we love.
You will notice a lot of bicycles, after all its because of cycling that we met. Theo loves comics and super heroes, me, more vintage and romantic things. We love to play board games. Our dreams~ to own an old VW combi and to do missionary work with children in Thailand. You will see the little boy kneeling, praying over Thailand. I like to capture special moment and to keep a journal.

GIFT BAGS
Today I decided it is about time to get rid of all my old magazines. Here’s a few of the gift bags from my recycling project.

FATHER’S Day GIFTS
I am busy making these Father’s day gifts for all the factory workers.
I used hotdog bags, filled each with a chocolate and decorated it as mens shirts. Hope they will love the gesture .
RECYCLING OF OLD TINS

I recycled these old tins by sanding it first, using fine sand paper.
I used metallic copper spray paint for the finishing touches.
Ready to be used as props.
PIMP UP MY SNEAKERS
Today’s craft is all about decorating plain sneakers and turn them into something more beautiful. I can’t wait to take them on a journey.
